S.E.N. Sessions

At Clip ‘n Climb Derby we provide bespoke sessions with quiet or no music, the wall lights off if needed, and no non-SEN customers in the arena or the soft play (there may be other customers using the rooms upstairs or the café).

Our level 2 trained instructors are fully qualified to help each individual complete all our walls and challenges to the best of their ability. For those with disabilities, whether it is physical or mental, we can take extra precautions and tailor the sessions specifically to their needs where possible, just let us know.

For those with physical disabilities we can provide written briefs and an access bag which is a secondary rope that allows instructors to take the weight of climbers allowing them to focus on foot and hand placement.

We provide a calmer, more relaxed environment, than a regular session and qualified instructors in the arena to ensure that everyone is getting all of the help that they need.

Now including a sensory tent in the arena with toys to help create a safe and relaxing time-out space.

This SEN session includes the use of soft play during this time if the climber wants to dip in and out of the climbing/soft play activity.

Our SEN climbing sessions are on Thursdays.

Please be aware that there may be other customers from the previous session on the property either using a party room or the café facilities
